Landon Stuart’s Eagle Project

At the Hermann Park Conservancy, there is a generously sized community garden that holds many crops that the people working there tend. They grow these plants so they can donate the harvestable produce to people who are in need of food and that may not be able to get fresh fruits or vegetables elsewhere.

My project is to restore the physical garden beds which have been slowly aging and decomposing over the years. I am looking to fix three of the planter boxes. The cost for each planter box is $1200 and the total amount I am looking to raise is $3600. I need this money to be able to afford the restorations. Please donate to help a friend in scouting give back to the community that taught him to do so.

Troop 266 Holiday Greenery Sale

Troop 266 Scouts are the best! The wreath and greenery sale was a huge success for the Troop.

The Dragons took a big lead over the rest of the patrols right off the bat when Joshua Liu scored a huge sale of garlands to a local developer. However, that did not discourage the other patrols and the sales kept on happening.

The top sellers for items sold, were Joshua Liu, Juan Pablo Contreras and Wyatt Chavez. Top sellers in dollar amount sold were Joshua Liu, Wyatt Chavez and Noah Ryan eased past Sean Rooney and Nathan Wilson by just $5.00. A total of 263 items were sold.

This great effort by the Scouts and their families resulted in sales of $8,011, approximately $5,000 more than the amount earned with last year’s wreath sales. After costs the fundraising contributed over $2,200 to the troop fund and will be used to purchase camping equipment, support for Summer and High Adventure camps, maintain the trailer or cover other troop expenses.
