Active Project: Heath Marks’ Eagle Project
- My Eagle Scout Project will be 11/16/24 at the City Southside Place Town Hall (6309 Edloe Street). My project has 2 parts. First is installing storm water inlet marking stickers on inlets around the City of Southside Place. Inlet marking stickers remind citizens not to place debris (such as leaves and trash) in the storm drains which help to prevent flooding. The second is cleaning and buffing the City Hall floors, an essential building of Southside Place, to restore shine and appearance.
- There will be 2 shifts: 9:00AM – 12:00PM and 1:00PM – 4:00PM. Lunch and snacks will be provided from 12:00-1:00PM. Please meet at Southside Place City Hall at the beginning of each shift.
- Use the Sign Up Genius Link here. This will count to Life Rank conservation-related service hours
Annual Rechartering/Dues-Keep in Mind for the Fall
Please remember to renew your membership for the upcoming year.
Watch out for troop (Troop 266) emails regarding current dues for Scouts and Adult Leaders.
Merit Badge Opportunities
Opportunities include Merit Badge Fairs, badges through the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and Summer Camps.
Summer is a prime time to earn badges.
