Griffin Weston Eagle Project sign-up:

This is Griffin Weston from the Cobra Patrol. I am planning my Eagle Scout Project. My project will be an urban forest restoration at Hermann Park. The section of the park we are working on is the Urban Forest located at 6532 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX 77030.

The project will be completed on two dates, Saturday October 29th (9AM-1PM) and Sunday November 13th (9AM-1PM). On the first day we will remove invasive species in one section of the park. On the second date, we will plant up to 50 native trees. Please sign up to help restore this neglected section of Hermann Park and contact me at my email address if you have any questions.

Merit Badge Opportunities

Nova classes are once a month last Friday of the month. The counselor normally emails out the pre-reqs a week prior.

Registration for 2020

Troop fees are as follows: $175 per scout, $30 per adult, $40 for scouts who are Eagles.We have a link on the troop website for paying registration fees. Click to register

Adults need current YPT. This can be found at my.Scouting.org. We can only register adults with YPT. When you have completed it, please send the certificate to Orval Marlow at omarlow@swbell.net. Please get in touch with Orval, me, Gerritt, or Melinda if you aren’t sure whether your YPT is current.
