Landon Stuart’s Eagle Project

At the Hermann Park Conservancy, there is a generously sized community garden that holds many crops that the people working there tend. They grow these plants so they can donate the harvestable produce to people who are in need of food and that may not be able to get fresh fruits or vegetables elsewhere.

My project is to restore the physical garden beds which have been slowly aging and decomposing over the years. I am looking to fix three of the planter boxes. The cost for each planter box is $1200 and the total amount I am looking to raise is $3600. I need this money to be able to afford the restorations. Please donate to help a friend in scouting give back to the community that taught him to do so.

Merit Badge Opportunities

Opportunities include Merit Badge Fairs, badges through the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and Summer Camps. More information will be posted here as becomes available.

Registration

Contact Carl Williams, Assistant Scoutmaster (carlw@alumni.rice.edu) for questions about the troop, and how to register.

In addition to registering, a fee needs to be paid for each Scout and for each Adult Leader. Contact Carl or the ScoutMaster on how to get started.

Adults need current and up-to-date Youth-Protection-Training (YPT). This can be found at my.Scouting.org. We can only register adults with YPT. When you have completed it, contact the ScoutMaster to submit it or to find out if our YPT is up to date.
